Syllabus
This course will explore the meaning of integration, segregation, and separation. The goal of this course to primarily examine, investigate, reflected upon secondary sources and determine the nature of the historical meaning of integration, segregation, and separation. Much too often the discussion on these terms is narrowed to the modern civil rights movement, which is fair logic but by simply thinking of these terms in a linear approach confines us to not thinking fully about the expression of these terms throughout the American experience and the history of race relations. This course will look for integration, segregation, and separation, or any other associative terms within and beyond the common approach to the ideas associated with integration, segregation and separation.
